  • SATURDAY, JULY 13 – CROOKED GRAVEL RACE

Our two courses showcase the finest gravel routes Grand County has to offer, featuring long, winding climbs through aspen and pine forests and wide-open descents under the expansive Colorado sky. At Gemini Adventures, they believe in a simple notion that makes all the difference: competition makes us faster, and collaboration makes us better.

Inspired by the legendary Ron Kiefel’s Crooked Roubaix from a decade ago, Crooked Gravel builds on a tradition of exploration. Back when gravel bikes were still a novelty, Kiefel and his friends embarked on a 95-mile dirt-road adventure from Winter Park into the high mountains on road bikes. Fast forward to 2024, and gravel bikes have become a staple of adventure cycling.

Crooked Gravel High Mountain Gravel Bike courses offer an unparalleled experience, with our long route featuring over 5,000 feet of climbing and our short route perfect for beginners. Starting at an elevation of 8,600 feet, Crooked Gravel is a challenging but rewarding endeavor. If nothing worth doing is easy, then Crooked Gravel is certainly worth doing.
