Winter Park Mountain Bike Summer 2023 Events

We’ve been to all the big name races and the crew at the Winter Park Comp Center puts on the finest events anywhere called the Winter Park Classics Formerly the Epic Mountain Bike Series right here in Winter Park Colorado. They also host the Trestle Gravity Series and King of the Grommets Gravity Race Event.

Winter Park Classic – Cross Country Mountain Bike Race Series (formerly Epic Single Track Series) 2023 

*Winter Park Classics is the re-invented version of the Epic Mountain Bike Series.  This event took the top 3 mountain bike races of the Epic Single Track series along with the classic rides over the years to create this new series.

2022 SCHEDULE

• SATURDAY, JUNE 24 – PRIMAL POINT-TO-POINT

This event begins at the base of Winter Park Resort, with racing taking place over 21 miles through the Fraser Valley trail system then finishes at the St. Louis Creek Campground. Riders will be able to enjoy an awards ceremony at the base of Winter Park Resort. Primal Point To Point Info

• SATURDAY, JULY 29 – SUPER LOOP

Racers will get to enjoy some of our ‘gem’ trails in the Rendezvous trail system and National Forest. This Winter Park Classics course is a racer favorite that takes riders through 17.5 miles of scenic trails with views of the Winter Park and Fraser Valley. Race Redenzvous Info

• SATURDAY, AUGUST 26 – TIPPERARY CLASSIC 

The Tipperary Classic going on over 25 years (formerly King of the Rockies) is one of most well known iconic mountain bike races in Winter Park. Racers get a great warm up as they ride on the Fraser River Trail to get to the course start in Fraser.  The course consists of  a variety of single track trails (from long to short climbs and descents) taking riders back to Winter Park the ‘scenic way’.  The finish of the event is at the Winter Park Resort base area. Riders that finish this bike race will have great satisfaction upon completing this challenging course with many stories to tell and memories that will last a life time. Tipperary Classic Info

All Mountain Bike Program Winter Park Resort 2023

The All Mountain Bike Program is for older kids and teaches mountain bikes skills on single track trails in Grand County.  A great warm up for High School mountain bike season.  Learn more about the All Mountain Bike Program Winter Park Resort. 

Outside Events Cycling Series – July 22, 2023

Race the Sun, a 12 hour endurance race and Grand County Grind, a gravel bike event organized by Outside Events Cycling Series will be held on July 23, 2022.  Both events will stage and base out of Rendezvous Event Center @ Hideaway Park.
